Dystopian fiction
What is it?
Dystopian fiction goes completely against what a utopia is all about. It is nightmarish and dark, as it explores political and social structures.

Jules Verne
He's known for some novels like Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea and Journey to the Center of the Earth.
Before his famous works, he wrote Paris in the Twentieth Century, his dysropian novel.
He was adviced against it for the sake of his career, so it was published until 1994, after his great-grandson discovered it.
