Looks at cinquences to know what to do. Good comsequences = good choice. Maximise happiness and benefit, minimise harm and suffering. If it’s useful, good choice.
Duty ethics
All a matter of principles, do good, avoid violence. It is principle right to be charitable, principally wrong to kill, steal, lie. Have a duty to do good, duty to avoid evil. Looks at the nature of the action not the consequences
