        A ramp that assists moving object up and down heights.
        
        Plane Surface, set at an angle against a horizontal surface
      - Lever
        
        Helps lift loads with less effort. Described as a long rigid body with a fulcrum along its length.
        
        F - Fulcrum(Pivot) in between Load & Effort
        L - Load in between Fulcrum & Effort
        E - Effort in between Load & Fulcrum
      - Pulley
        
        Helps to lift heavy objects by increasing mechanical advantage.
        
        Comprises of a wheel on a fixed axle, with a groove along the edges to guide a rope.
      - Screw
        
        Commonly Used Machine
        Converts rotational motion into linear motion
        
        Has a Long & Thin metal shaft with threads spiralling along its length
      - Wedge
        
        Active Twin of the inclined plane. Does useful work by moving unlike the inclined plane.
        
        Made up of 2 inclined planes, meeting and forming a sharp edge.
      - Wheel & Axle
        
        Helps to move really heavy objects with wheels and & axle. The wheels reduced friction, making it easier to move.
        
        Consists of a wheel attached to a smaller axle so that these two parts rotate together in which a force is transferred from one to the other.
