Asexual
A reproduction is asexual when it only requieres one organism to happen, and the results (offsprings) are always genetically identical to the original organism/parent. This type of reproduction occurs with very simple organisms

Sexual
A reproduction is sexual when it involves the uniting of gametes, which are reproductive cells (in animals, sperm and egg cells), to make a new organism. The new organism resulting from sexual reproduction is genetically diverse because it has received genetic information from their two different parents.
