In paralytic infection-poliovirus enters CNS or peripheral nerves- damaging spinal cord and the brain
This results in a patient not able to move or feel their lower limbs having parasthesia and decreased motor functioning

Is a life threatening disease of polio virus which is spread from one to another, infecting the spinal cord and the brain causing motor dysfunction
