Signs and symptoms
Facial asymmetrry
Dizziness
Loss of balance
Difficulty walking
Confusion
Numbness or weakness in one side of the body
Nursing care plan
Nursing diagnosis
Activity intolerance due to TIAs impairment as evidenced by abnormal Blood pressures, body weakness, facial asymmetrry
Assess patients weakness by lifting one arm and legs to assess weakness
Do vital signs half hourly and note any abnormalities
Assist oatient on daily activities
Assist patient with mobilisation
Prevebt falling by strictly bedresting the patient
Give all prescribed medication

Large artery atherothrombosis( intracranial oe extracranial atherothrombosis)
Small vessel ischemic disease because of hypertension, age-related and diabetes
Cardiac embolism:a clot in the cardiac chamber
Cryptogenic and arterial dissection or hypercoagulable states
