Prologue
In the prologue William says that after so many months of preparation and hard work, his invention was complete
It was exactly as in his dreams: it was built only metal scraps
When news of his work had spread, people arrived to see it and how crazy William really was!
William unlocked the machine's spinning wheel and the machine started: slowly at first, then fast and faster
He has made electric wind
Epilogue
Here William sends a message to young people
He says that dreams are really importants because they are the truest and the most hopefull think that people has
He says that it's very important to follow dreams and ambitions
He is a Malawian innovator, engineer and write
He became famous when in 2002 he built a windmill in his country
Today William supports a lot of progects to improve life in his country Malawi and in other developing countries
He was born in a poor family: his father was a farmer and his mother was a housewife
To survive, the family worked the land but when William was 14 years old, there was a severe famine
So his family didn't have money to pay his school and William had to leave it
But William was curios and he wanted tu study again
So he began to go to the local library where there were a lot of books about electronics and science
One day he found a book called "USING ENERGY", about windmills
He decided to create his first windmill to bring electricity and a water pump to his family and village
A local news paper wrote about William and his windmill and so he became known all over the world
in 2007 he recived a scolarship to the Accademy in Johannesburg
In 2014 he moved to the USA where he graduated
