Why: 1.The world is diverse and full of cultures, without cultures everyone would be the same. 2. Culture has thousands and thousands of years of history, telling stories of people, and all of it will be lost if not presereved. 3. Globalisation means that more cultures interact, thus people will interact with more and more cultures. Knowing more about other cultures allows us to have deeper connections.
Stans / Weebs / Culture Sensationalisation
Its fine to appreciate a culture and you can dress however you want. Consider how western culture is prevalent throughout modern society. Some fans/stans can sttart fundraisers, help charities.
However, chasing a culture obsessively can be harmful may offend some cultures. It can also affect the mental state of a person / fan. It can lead to media addiction and a lowered self esteem

Should tradition be preserved over innovation
New generations are more open (LGBTQ etc), thus conflict may arise between younger generation and older
Innovation and Tradition should both be considered, tradition should be preserved while a society innovates so that the tradition can flourish.
Tradition may be lost over innovation as cultural heritage sites or important landmarks may be demolished to make space for factories etc.
