LEVERS - Coggle Diagram
LEVERS
There are three types of levers
Class 1
The effort of the force can be multiplied or reduced
The load and the effort are on opposite sides
Class 2
The load is between the effort and the fulcrum
The effect of the effort is multiplied
Class 3
The effort is between the fulcrum and the load
The effect of the effort is always reduced
The lever is balanced when the effort F, multiplied by its distance d is equal to the load R multiplied by its distance from the fulcrum r
Fd = Rr
A lever is a rigid bar that is used with a point of support or a fulcrum
