What will it take to achieve the American Dream?
How does this connect to "Into The Wild" by Jon Krakauer?
Chris McCandless, the main character of "Into The Wild," had a dream of living on the road and having a life without responsibility, people, and money.
His dream is very different from my American Dream and the stereotypical American Dream as he left the stereotypical American Dream to seek a life full of freedom, isolation, and living off the wild.
His dream is a little similar to mine though as he wants the freedom to be and do what he wants without anyone holding him back which I agree with as I wouldn't want to be forced to work a certain job or not being allowed to choose what I do with my freetime.
What does Chris do to achieve his American Dream?
Chris McCandless achieved his American Dream by leaving everything behind and walking into the Alaskan wilderness alone.

Make Money
My American Dream includes money as without it I cannot achieve my American Dream, as I need it to provide for myself and my family, buy stuff that I want, own my own stuff, and it can give me a purpose to work hard.
Money allows me to buy things that are in my American Dream like:
House
Car
