What is the American Dream
The American dream is everyone having equal opportunity to live out what they believe is the best life they can live whether that be making a lot of money and being famous or just being your average middle class citizen providing for their family.
Get a good paying job that I enjoy so I can support myself and others.
Figure out what job I want to do and see if it pays well.
Depending on the job get a degree then continue to work towards getting that job. Like continue getting good grades in college.
Putting in time to get an interview with the job I want, then if I get the job work as hard as I can to move up the ranks and get more money,

Chris in the story read a book called One man's wilderness.
He went around the country and worked until he felt prepared to succeed his dream.
Chris got inspired by the book and wanted to go on his own "Alaskan Odyssey"
Chris' American dream is to be on his own without any rules and no one to interfere with him
The Steps in order to achieve the American dream
Third you need to be able to sacrifice something in order to be able to put in hard work to keep achieving your dream.
Example #1: Putting enough time to where you can stay at your current social level.
Example #2: "No, we don't do friends, boy, collect bands, I'm a landlord." - Chief Keef
First you need to have a goal in mind on where you want to be able to get to
Second you need to make a plan to succeed in your goals.
Example #2: Get a job and then try to move up until you have enough money and experience until you can either get a promotion or get another and better job.
Example #1: Get a college degree in order to get more opportunities for more higher paying jobs and more skillful job depending on the degree.
