2) My Research Questions
“In what ways does Arthur Miller express his attitude towards the theme of “The American Dream” in his play Death of a Salesman through the interactions with Willy Loman, his family, Howard and Charley?”

My Writing
1) Thesis
The main character of the story Willy embodies the American Dream, which it could be seen his repated lines in the story.
2) Development
-
Therefore, the dominant precense of Willy creates the conflict with the other character.
Hence, it is important desiphere the connections between the previously disscused elements form the American Dream with Willy's repetitive Ideas.
3) Evidince
-
This Idea uphoalded by him with his conclusive dream he wants to have his own business in order to not “leave homeany more” (Miller 18)
However, these dreams never become a reality, which highlights the unsuccsesful nature around Willy’s job in the present.
Even though he put “thirty-six years” (Miller 40) of man hours in to his work, in the end the compony he worked for takes “his sallary” away.
-
However, the consistent acurence is the rapid mention of these senarios and the acceptence as something ordanary from Linda.
An example would be the start of act two, where his future plans is the most hyperbolic.
The rapid nature of the plans were exucuted thanks to useage of short sentences "And they'll get married," (Miller 53) and using connectors to create a high pace ",and come for a weekend." (Miller 53).
Additinally, these types of diologes acur, when he is most happy.
-
This example accentuates by Linda with the usage of the "such high spirits," (Miller 56) and cliched "like the old days!" (Miller56) idioms.

In the case of Willy, he follows this Idea as a mythology and by doing it sees himself as an acient hero.
A huge some of words and phrases like "Knocked'em cold" (Miller 21), "slaughtered'em" (Miller 21) indicates a battle, in which Willy just like warrior winning.
However, the mythological feeling and the imaginary implications of the American Dream will be disscused even further in the “Ben” paragraph.
The reason being that Ben is the character, who intrudeces the American Dream to Willy and creates the mythological connections.
-
5) Analysis
As seen by the connections all of the sentences said by Willy supports the American Dream throughly, which is the basis for the future criticisim about the American Dream itself.
