Naya Savera
empower the students belonging to minority communities and prepare them for competitive examinations, so that their participation in government and private jobs improves.
The scheme provides financial support for free coaching to notified minority students in selected coaching institutions.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have secured the required marks in the qualifying examination prescribed for admission to the desired courses/recruitment examinations will be eligible for this fellowship.

Also, the total family income from all sources must not exceed Rs.6 lakh per annum.
The organisation/implementing agency needs to get an income certificate from the concerned candidate issued by the competent authorities.
Also, 30% of the numbers sanctioned for coaching will be for girl’s candidates. In case girl’s candidates are not available, then male candidates will fill the remaining slots. They need to take prior permission from the Ministry.

Funding
The Ministry of Minority Affairs will provide the fund for the entire expense of the coaching provided to selected minority students.

The coaching fee amount for the programme awarded to the institution will be available in two installments every year.
The first installment includes 50% of coaching fees and 50% of stipend. It will be released to the institutes soon after the empanelment and after receiving the list of candidates and other prescribed documents.
The stipend will be released by the concerned coaching institutions instantly into the account of the candidates.
The Government of India has the right to provide the funds in the following years after the inspection of the organization by the Central Government/State Government.

Selected Candidates will have to attend all classes. In case, they remain absent for more than 15 days, without any solid reason or leave the coaching in between, then the whole expense incurred on the candidate will be recovered from the Institute or the concerned candidate.
Type of coaching
Residential coaching programme for the preparation of Civil Service Exams = Coaching fee per candidate : As fixed by the Institute subject to a maximum of one lakh + Stipend per Month : No stipend will be paid + Duration : will be paid.
Nine months
Entrance examination for technical or Professional course = As fixed by the institute, subject to a maximum of Rs. 50,000 + Six months
Group ‘A’ Services: As fixed by the institute, subject to a maximum of Rs. 50,000 + Rs. 2500 per month + Six months
Group ‘B’ Services: As fixed by the institute,subject to a maximum of Rs. 30,000 + Four months
Group ‘C’ Services : As fixed by the institute, subject to a maximum of Rs. 20,000 + Three months
