No. Speciesism should not be understood as a form of bigotry.
Favoring one species is not necessarily hating or hurting another species.
Biologically/ evolutionarily advantageous to favor your own species
Natural instinct to favor ones own species. Ex: we do value a worm's life to the same degree as we value a human life.

Racism is bias based on race. Sexism is bias on gender. Both race and gender are group memberships. Similar to being a member of a species.
