SECOND CONDITIONAL

+ If + S + VERB (past simple), S+ would/wouldn't + verb (inf)
-Ex: *If I was rich, I hould have 5 cars

- If + S + don't/doesn't + VERB (inf), S + would/wouldn't + verb (inf)
-Ex: If I didn't have a boyfriend

THIRD CONDITIONAL

USE

We use FIRST CONDITIONAL to talk about the result of a passible situation in the future

  • *+ IF + S + don't/doesn't +VERB ( inf), S + will/won't + verb (inf)
  • Ex: If you don't study, you won't pass the exam

USE

We use SECOND CONDITIONAL to talk about the result of on imaginary situation

We use THIRD CONDITIONAL to talk about the result of a situation in the past

-Ex: If it had rained, you would have gotten wet
