Diabetic retinopathy is a microangiopathy affecting the retinal precapillary arterioles, capillaries and venules.
Complications of diabetic retinopathy can lead yo blindness, retinal detachment, vitreous hemorrhage and glaucoma
Microvascular disorder which threatens Vision as damaged retina because of rise in glucose level(hyperglycaemia)

Nursing diagnosis
Disturbed sensory perception related to damage of retina as patient diabetes evidenced by patients complain about vision
Nursing intervention
Monitor blood glucose 15 before meals and 2 hours after meals and administration of diabetic medication as per patients prescription
