it makes those students feel cool
students have no regard for the condition of bathrooms

the bathroom is a space where they can smoke
not many faculty will go into the bathroom to check
students use the bathroom to skip class
they don't like the teacher or the class
the teacher doesn't like the student
the student doesn't like the class
the class is too hard
students don't understand the class
Consequences
Not enough bathrooms open
Have to go to a different bathroom
