Complex Numbers
Expression of a complex number in the form of a + bi
(a, b ∈R)
Conjugate of a Complex Number: The two complex numbers a+bi and a-bi are called conjugates to each other and the conjugate of z=a+bi is denoted by z=a-bi.
-
For a, b∈R and the imaginary number i, the expression in the form of z=a+bi is called complex numbers.
For z=a+bi, a is the real part of z and is shown as Re(z) and b is the imaginary part of z and is shown ass Im(z).
-
Imaginary Unit:
The number √-1=i is the unit of imaginary number. Then,

A quadratic equation is an equation of the second degree, meaning it contains at least one term that is squared.
The formula is ax² + bx + c = 0 with a, b and c being constants, or numerical coefficients, and x being an unknown variable.
