Specialized Information
Most schools in Alberta provide two recesses for kids in Elementary as it provides more creative play, and child development.
Longer Recesses are not as common and are disappearing as facilities outdoor grounds shrinking and not enough space for the whole grade to go out and play and the lack of safety and supervision.
