human dignity. we all are created in Gods image to love, and serve Him and offer him praise. all human life is sacred and deserves to be respected. every other social teaching builds on the important truth.

participation in society. everyone has the right to participate in his or her society and community. people and groups should not be excluded unfairly. we all want to contribute to the way that are society develops and grows

care for people who are poor and vulnerable because every person has dignity. we have social responsibility to defend and protect and care for those who are in any sense poor or vulnerable.
Dignity of work. human dignity includes the right to work. we all have the right to useful work, fair wages, and safe working conditions. we also have the responsibility to protect the dignity of workers and their right to work, fair wages, and safe working conditions.
peace. peace is the result of social justice. peace depends on respect for human dignity of all the people, as well as mutual respect, cooperation, and participation among all people and nations.
the common good is the good we get from being part of a community. the common good in which every team member shares is the joy and satisfaction of being part of a team. the common good in our world, it means contributing unselfishly to our communities so that everyone's life can be satisfying and joyful.

solidarity means that we are interdependent. As God's creation, we are all connected. we are one. Regardless of what others believe or how they behave toward us, we the church are called to love and serve everyone.
you have rights to the necessities of life, such as safety, food, water, and an education.
work is more than just a job. It is a right and a duty. work is also good for people because it encourages them to use their gifts and abilities.
At a caritas health centre in somalia, doctors and nurses provide care to families. A caritas centre in Italy provides people with opportunities to develop their skills to later find work in tailor shops. Caritas members walk in support of better climate change laws in Brazil.
How do we answer God's call to help others?
As Christ's body on Earth, we are called to work toward the common good and help those who are poor and vulnerable.
The Holy Spirit inspires our charity. Hebrews 8:10,''I will put my laws in their minds, and write them on their hearts, and i will be their God, and they shall be my people''. As St. Paul said, ''keep alert, stand firm in your faith, be courageous, be strong. Let all that all you do be done in love''.

The lesson is God calls us from selfishness to care for one another. - Matthew 5:42 Give to everyone who begs from you, and do not refuse anyone who wants to borrow from you. The lesson is God calls us to share our blessings. - Matthew 19:21 Jesus said to him ''if you wish to be perfect, go, sell your possessions, and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me.'' The lesson is our true riches are found in following Jesus. - luke 4:18 Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. The lesson is Jesus brings his good News to the poor in spirit.
Jesus inspires our charity. He invited -Luke 19:5. He reached out -Matthew 8;2-3. He showed mercy -John 8:11. He provided - matthew 14:13-21. He loved -Mark 10:14
