How did the great Depression effect ways of life in Canada.
The great depression was very bad in Canada and back then they called the senchury that the great depression was in was called the dirty thirties.
There were millions of people in Canada that did not have jobs and lots of people in Canada were homeless.
Because people did not have homes people did not have a place to sleep.
Because people did not have money so people could not buy food and people would starve.
Lots of businesses went bankrupt and closed down so people did not have jobs and could not make money.
What caused the great Depression in Canada.
The farmers did not water there crops they only depended on the rain to water there crops.
After world war 1 lots of people were starting to depending on the government and did not know what to do when the government collapsed because they were depending on the government and the government could not help because they were running out of money.
The companies were making to many items and people did not buy them and the companies went bankrupt.
Lost of people in canada were depending on the government.
Companies grow to fast and had to many things.
Because there were to many items and there price went down because nobody needed them.
Why was Canada affected by the great Depression.
Because there were lots of companies shutting down and lots of factories shutting down.
It barely rained so none of the crops farmers were making were growing.
Because crops were not growing the farmers could not sell their crops they did not have enough money to buy food and they could not eat there crops.
Because the farmers could not eat there crops and they could not buy food because they had no money they could not eat and they would starve.
Because no crops were growing no one had enough food people were starving.
How did the great depression end in Canada.
In 1939 World war 2 started and jump started the economy so people started getting jobs again and people started making money again and that was the end of the great depression.
Because people were making money again people could buy food again and would not starve and because people were making money again people cold buy homes again and people would not starve.
The end of the great depression was not so good because it was the beginning of world war two.
Canada was affected badly by the great depression.
People in the great depression could not afford to buy a car. People were not trying to buy cars people were trying to buy food and survive.
To many people borrowed money from the bank and when they lost their jobs they could not pay the money back.
