Criticism- either general criticism of humanity or human nature or specific criticism of an individual or group

Indirect Satire- the speaker is a persona or a character, but not the actual author

Websites

Analyze
Navigation Menu- labels at the top or under an icon used to navigate through the website. Ease of use is key.
Header- top section that includes logo, branding, and navigation menu

Banner- sometimes the first large graphic element across the top. Will use colors to coordinate with logo
Footer- found at the bottom and contains source info, contact info, copyright requirements, the logo, and promotes better user experience
Sidebar- some websites have this, some don’t. Use for supplemental information on the main page.
Call to Action Buttons- allow interaction with the website. Usually requires the user to input personal information and details in order to get ‘the most up to date information’ or ‘10% off of your order’.
