Preparedness

There will be a 100ft sea wall around the cost where the tsunami strikes to prevent damage.

There will be rations prepared for people who might lose their home to the tsunami.

We will prepare shelters where tsunami won't reach.

Make buildings that can withstand tsunami.

There can be tsunami sirens to inform people to evacuate the area and teams can evacuate people on the immediate notice of a tsunami.

Recovery

There will be rescue operations to find citizen or displaced citizen in the tsunami, relocate the citizen that are displaced.

During the initial recovery period, the government, cooperating with NGOs and local communities, build back up the economy, livelihoods, infrastructure. More importantly, disaster risk reduction, focusing especially on infrastructure resilience, is part of this recovery process.

For tsunamis, resilience measures include early warning systems and evacuation shelters. Which can reduce the vulnerability of the city that can prevent any tsunamis after the lesson learnt from the tsunami that has happened.

It will take 5 years for the community to return to the minimum that it can be usually and it takes around 10-20 years for the long term plans for the city to completely recover with improvements and tsunami prevention methods.
