Rene Descartes's famous quote is "I think, therefore I am." He use to talk to himelf and ask himself questions, having convorstations with himself.
Francis Bacon, Galilio, Rene Descartes, and Issac Newton were all apart of the scientific revolution, changing the world.
Rene thought that there were demions living in his brain because every math problem he did he made a simple mistake, and so he made the famous quote.
- The Scientific Revolution Begins
As the scientific revolution was not marked by a single change, but many new individual ideas contributed. Some of them were revolutions in their own fields.
Many Enlightenment writers and thinkers had backgrounds in the sciences, and associated scientific advancements.
During the revolution, we started changing perceptions about the role of the scientist in respect to nature, and the value of experimental or observed evidence.
Under the scientific method, natural and artificial circumstances were abandoned and a research tradition of systematic experimentation were slowly accepted by scientists.
Towards the end of the Rennissans the scientific revolution began, bringing great science and math to come.
The scientific revolution included copermicus's work with the stars and outerspace, telling people how it really worked.
Before him, people thought that everything revolved around the earth, even the sun! But he changed that and showed them what is really happening.
-
He is the father of modern astronomy, and he is from poloand and he recieved a great education because of his familys wealth.
Before Copermicus everyone thought the earth was the center of the earth, not the otherway around.
He changed the way people think about everything since he helped people know the truth about outter space.
Copermicus was an astronomer who came up with the idea that the sun was the center of the univers, and he lived in the 1500's.
The astronomical clocks are very cool because they give you so much information, and it was an amazing creation for its time period.
The clock shows people the moonphases, the sun phases, and if their is bad weather coming because of the moon.
The oldest astronomical clock is located in the UK, but some of the clocks are still working today from the 1500s.
The astronomical clocks are lots and lots of pieces put together. Each clock is about 30,000 or more pieces, so a giant puzzle.
-
A astronomical clock is a clock showing all the astronimical information including moon phases, sun phases, and zodiac signs.
Laws of phyiscs apply to everywhere throught the unviers, even in space. This was a major advancement for this time and for Gallio.
The church didnt like Gallios discoverys about outerspace so they locked him up in the dungen for a while and then had he put on house arrest for the rest of his life.
-
Gallio kept inventing things and thinking of things about the univers even when he was on house arrest. He didnt let house arrest stop him from discovering more.
