Electricity - Coggle Diagram
Electricity
Electric circuits: a set of connected components through wich an electric curren flows
Receptors: transform the electrical energy they recieve into another useful energy
Bulb
Motor
Electric resistors
Bell
Protection components: insterumps the flow of the current when it gets too high. They can be fuses or thermal magnetic circut breaker
Contro components
A 3-way switch: has two outputs so it's comunicates with two different circuirs
A push button: it has a fixed position wich changes whe pressed
A switch: this has two positions-one allowsthe flow and the other stops the current
Conductors
Are elements that join all componets of a circut and allow
the flow of currentt. They can be cables or wires
Generators: they produce electric currents. It has 2 poles. One negative and one positive
Hydrogen cells: they produce energy from oxygen in the air and hydrogen.
Photovoltaic: they use energy from the sun.
Batteries: use chemical processes produce electric current.
Alternators: transform motion into elctric current.
Electric charge
All of the bodies
are made of atoms.
There are three types
Protons: wich have positive charge
Neutrons: which don't have charge
Electrones: which nave negative charge
In normal conditions the matter is neutral
Opposite charges attract and like charges repel
Electric current
Is a continious movement of electrones
Two types of of materials
Conductors: allow electric current to pass through them
Insulators: do not allow electric currents to pass through them
