scheduling is important for assistant director to be in charge of as they make the schedule and the AD team carries it out
staying jn close contact with the cast and crew is vital as you need to know where everybody is at all times
just in case an accident is caused on set before getting in contact with any ambulances or doctors the assistant director needs to be first at hand with the kit to asses the severity of the situation and get in touch with the medical staff on set

a shot list is vital for the director to know by heart but also have on hand and it is the 1st AD'S job to prepare it

the call sheet will inform everyone what time they need to be on set and the location of filming and is normally handed out a day prior to filming
