Rules
Based off of games like mathletics, the player will be given audio of a naplan spelling word based on their grade they choose at the beginning. The word will be read out loud three times as the player spells it into a box.
When the word is correct the players character will move fowarded one space. The players character will slowly move backwards the longer they dont answer correctly.
After answering 10 questions correctly (the minimum) the player will win. All spelling words are chosen at random so the player can continue playing and spell different words each time.
Adjustments
-
Players can choose their grade/difficulty before playing the game, grade 5 being exclusively words from the grade 5 naplan list, grade 6 being a mix of easy grade 7 spelling words and hard grade 5 words. and grade 7 being words from the grade 7 spelling list.

Data
Spelling words will be collected from the grade 5 and 7 naplan spelling words list. Audio versions of these words will be made and implemented. This is so that the game can read out the words and then be able to detect when the player has spelt them correctly.
