- - - - The teacher can model this in front of the class and then let students work in pairs. Mouthing words to practice vowels, having students watch lip and jaw position. Also, mouthing words to practice minimal pairs with certain consonants (l/r, th, f/v).
    - - Look for an interesting soap opera, movie, newspaper or magazine and assign a reading. Students will be interested in read if the material is adapted for their interests, they will practice reading, listening, speaking and pronunciation.
    - - -Listen to authentic language to determine rules for sentence stress.
        -Listen to interviews to determine rules for intonation.
- - - - Get a copy of the dictation exercise for each student. You can have the students write directly in the blanks or if the materials are not consumable, you can have the students number the blanks and write the answer on a separate sheet.
    - - It is an excellent listening exercise and can be used to sharpen the skills of listening and comprehending. It also helps to develop reading and writing skills by exposing the student to the written form of the language as he/she listens to the spoken form. Students begin to recognize sight words and to make associations of sounds with letters.
- - - - To interpret a play is necessary firstly to choose a Topic it could be a tale (depending on the level). Then divide students in small groups and assign different works. One group can decorate the stage, other can select the wardrobe and other group can be actors.
