- - - - However with the start of the early industal age and with the intoduction of new medcines the upper classes began to cherish and care for there childern more as they were able to live longer.
        
        Moveing into the early to mid 19th centry the middle classes began to also care more about there childern and began to spend more money on there education and wellbeing.
        
        with socity beging to care more and more about childern and this new consept of childhood new markets were being to open up to feed into these new ideas like the incress in mass poduced childrens toy and the confectionaly industry.
        
        Towards to end of the 19th centry we begin to see these intrests filler down to the working masses with legisation intoduced to give childern and education such as the 1870 education act.
        
        the changes to the middle classes were not aplicable to the new working masses which were froming in the early 19th centrys. Many of them were still seen as little adults and more importantly economic assets that could be sent to work in factorys or mines to being in money for the household.
        
        there were some laws that were put in place as time went on to prevent child labour such as the factory acts of 1833 and the mines act of 1842. Howevr this only rase the working ages for factorys to over the age of 9 and colliery workers to 10 or over.

        this statsitic suggests that marriges are still seem as an important insatution in socity.

    - - Women are used as a from of unpaid labour in a capitalist socity and are there to make fore the man of the family who is the main earner is feed and well looked after to destract him from the problems of the Capitalist system.
    - - The family has become more egalitran over the last 50 years and the main problems of inequality is the socilzation of boys and girls into gender roles.
