Textile industry grew

With the mercantile system
Governors did these things to help the economy
Increase the amount of precious metals
Which entered to their kindoms
Prevent them from entering other countries
Protect national industries
Taking imported products

The agricultural crisis and the decline in the population
Expulsion of the Moriscos

300 000 people left the Peninsula
The mayority were farmers
Had a negative effect on agriculture
Especially Aragón and Valencia
Where fifth of the population was

Because of the way of hard life
