Stimulus Generalisation
For OC, other similar stimuli elicit a similiar behaviour to the original stimulus
For CC, other stimuli similar to the conditioned stimuli elicit the conditioned response
Extinction
For OC, when the consequence is not present consistently over a period of time, the behaviour becomes extinct
For CC, when the UCS is not paired with CS, the CR gradually becomes extinct
Spontaneous Recovery
For OC, after a period of extinction, once the same consequence re-introduced, the behaviour reappears
For CC, after a period of extinction, when the UCS is paired again with CS, the CR reproduced
Stimulus Discrimination
For OC, the behaviour is only elicited to the original stimulus and not other similar stimuli
For CC, the CR is only elicited to the original stimulus and not other similar stimuli
