- Anatomical fold or wrinkle (rugae)
- Expands and rises superior during filling

1. Renal Corpuscle

Tuft of capillaries composed of endothelial tissue
II. Glomerular Capsule "Bowman's capsule"

2. Renal Tubule & Collecting Duct
- Single layer of epithelial cells
3 parts;
- Proximal
Convoluted Tubule
- Reavsorbtiont and secretion
- Confined to cortex
- Nephron Loop
- There is ascending and descending portion
- Distal Convoluted Tubule
- Function: More Secretion rather than resorption
