The plan was that Eli would enroll for the fall semester, while his father attended a meeting of the Board of Overseers of the school.
Eli's mother sat next to the doctor, she was reading the catalog of the Whitehill School.

is a 13 year old boy.
He has applied to the prestigious WHITEHILL SCHOOL for Boys.
DOCTOR REMENZEL
is Eli's father.
His family is an "elite" family, which means that his family is quite wealthy.
His family has such a good reputation,
Eli was born into a high-class family, all accepted into the prestigious Whitehill school.
His family believes that he should get special treatment, and always make sure that he gets what he wants.
SYLVIA REMENZEL
is Eli's lovely mother.
Eli is terrified to tell his parents that he wasn't accepted into Whitehill.
He is ashamed about this
he knows that his parent will do whatever they can to get him into the school, therefore embarasing the whole family.
