Don Quixote tells the story of Alonso Quixano, a country gentleman, whose crazed mind leads him to change his name to Don Quixote de la Mancha and to go forth to right the world's wrong. Don Quixote lives in a world created in his imagination, which had been fueled by his obsession with chivalric tales. He longs to resurrer this world he has long read of. Instead, he deals with windmills, bedclothes, and much disappointment. Along the way, he acquires a sidekick, Sancho, who helps Don Quixote in hopes of getting rich.
