- - - - According to the big bang theory the universe started from one singular point which was hot and dense and this therefore led to thecreation of stars and planets
      - RELIGIOUS ATTITUDES TOWARS THE BIGBANG THEORY
        
        Liberal Christians and Muslims find no problem with the Big bang theory - God may have chosen to allow the universe to create intelligent life, some christens may believe that God made the big bang happen and therefore they can agree partially with these ideas
        
        Religious creationists disagree with these ideas as this contradicts that God made to universe with his own power and hands
    - - Charles Darwin published "on the origin of species" this controversial book set out his theory of Evolution by natural selection
      - On the galapagod island he observed brids on different islands - some had fat beaks where seads were the main source of foods thin beaks- where fruit was main source of food
      - His theories suggests characteristics happened by chance

        evangelical Christians and many Muslims see evolution as an attack on their beliefs
        
        Evolution implies that life has developed by chance whereas religious scripters teach that God is the creator
        2.religoius scriptures state we have a "God given soul" and if we developed from animals then there is no special place for a soul
        3.evolution challanges the genisi which says that each species was made according to it kind (they dont chsnge and are fixed for all time)
        
        some liberal Christians however believe that science can teach us things the writers f the bible cannot understand
  - - - literal Christians believe that the bible should be taken word for word everything happend exaclty as it is described
      - liberal- people should be free to interpret the bible how tey want and everything didnt happen exaclty as it was described

        god created the world in sevcen days from earth and sky to sun,stars,planets,aniamls and human beings and a day of rest. Humans are the peak of creation, made in his image giving them uniqie stewaardship over other creation "let us make mankind in our image in our likeness

        God teaches Adam first before the animals and placed him in the garden of Eden. Adam was formed from the dust of the ground and the breath of God (soul), to give Adam a partner God made eve out of Adams ribs
    - - young earth- the world was creat in eaxaclty 6 days and was only 10000 years ago
      - old earth- god must have created the world but "days" are refering to longer periods of time ot 24hours
    - - teaches gods as creator but unlike the bible there isnt a creation story just verses scattered around
      - created the earth in six long periods of time and Allah created adam out of cly breathing life into him he took Adam to paradise and made a wife for him
    - - humanists for a better world - campaign in 2011 created networks for humanists campaigning on issues such as social justice , they argue its out ==r responsibility to save the planet
