never had much power or control when he was younger and he sought it in life
raised in a healthy environment with good parents
never fit in at school
he had a speech impediment growing up meaning he got teased a lot by other kids
went to church growing up
had a bad temper
enjoyed scaring other children
he was alone and isolated in high school
he had no close friends to him
studied psychology in university
had a girlfriend in his late teen years
had to break off the relationships because of his own insecurities
he had a girlfriend called Liz Kendall
he would fantasise about her being dead and would torture himself with the pain
he made a little family with her
she had a child to another man before he met her
ted was obsessed with pornographic material growing up
he linked the women to violence and the thoughts would start to consume him
he fantasised about strangling them so they couldn't scream and killing them to discard the evidence
he had a voice in his head which told him when to act agressively

he wanted to be looked up to and admired
he loved all the attention
he had a desire to kill women
his desire was never completely fulfilled which is what made him kill so many women

then diagnosed with multiple personality disorder

took pleasure from another persons pain and the control he had over them
