- - - - Anti-Semitism- Historys oldest hatred, persecuted for being monotheistic by poly’s such as Babylonia, Greece, Rome and gets worse with Christianity. Because they didn’t accept christ, moved to ghettos with colored badges and hats for identification.
        
        Pogrom- Anti-Jewish riots, Russian Rev. 1300 in Ukraine, 500,000 homeless, 30-70,000 died.
        
        Nuremberg Laws- After coming to power, Hitler in 1935 strips Jewish people of citizenship and owtlaw intermarriage with Jews.
        
        Kristallnacht- 17 year old kills german for fathers deportation, nazi stromtroopers destroying homes and busnisses, thousands try to escape, after admittance of tens of thousands, United States, France, and Britain closed doors to immigration. Nov 9, 1938 – Nov 10, 1938
        
        Ghettos- Jew populated cities barred off with barbed wire and stone walls surrounded by guards, in hopes to use starvation or disease to kill Jews, communities created schools, clinics, and resistance, famous Warsaw uprising 1943, all resistance died.
        
        “Final Solution”-Tired of waiting for Jews to starve it moved to systematic killing, began killing disabled people, and used same ideas with Roma, Poles, Russians, homo, handicapped, termanally ill, and Jews. Gathered, dug own graves, firing squad kills them, if you were too far away you were rounded up and sent to the camps, Germany and Poland, starved losing 50 pounds first month.
        
        Concentration Camps- Auschwitz, crematoriums, 6,000 deaths a day, seperated into working and not working classes, unfit individuals killed by gas showers, 6 million died, 4 million survived in German territory.
