My social location in regards to leadership and supervision has provided me with a lot of reflection and has influenced the way I lead and supervise. I am a Black Nigerian woman, Christian, Cis gendered, Mother, Wife, Sister, Aunt, Immigrant, Able bodied,Middle class, MSW educated Social Worker. Intersectionality is a key concept used to explain how social categories interact and constitute multiple systems of privilege experienced by individuals and groups. Intersectionality for me is the interaction of my social categories, which has shaped my social location and experiences. My social location will affect my goals both positively and negatively. *
