In August 1933 the Jewish Agency for Palestine concluded a series of agreements with the German Economics Ministry
The agreement stated that the Jews were to put money into a Jewish trust company, and would receive half of this money in Palestine pounds after moving
The other half would be used to buy German goods, hence benefiting the German economy
Normally, Jews were prohibited from taking their savings with them, but the Nazis were willing to bend their rules
Hitler made it seem like Britain was keeping Jews out of Palestine, whereas Germany was helping them go
