ECONOMIC
The goverment regulated the transportation of scarce goods
After the war, the nation urbanization and industrialization was acelerated, fullfilling the desires of the Northern of freedom and oportunities to everyone.
The blockade-runners had a huge impact on the transportation of goods such as cotton, and war supplies.
SOCIAL
The slavery was completely abolied in the northern territory because of the fourtheenth and fifteenth Amendments
The Northern vision of the United States took precedence over the more local, states' rights, agriculturally oriented version of the South.
More than 360,000 Federals died in the war.
SOUTH
SOCIAL
Southerns, even though they lost the wat, stripped the rights of the African-American people
The North established its preponderance over the state of the South. Combat guerrillas were formed and resisted the new govermment policies

RECONSTRUCTION: POLICIES
Few Americans in the South actually approve this reconstruction process even tough the north didnt confiscate their lands or jail the southerns who participated in the war.
White southerns belived that their right were taken by the Republican Governments, that was seen as inneficient and corrupt. Thats why combat guerrillas were formed, to resist this new govermment
In 1865, slavery was abolish. All the American slaves in the Nort were liberated
The creation of the fourtheenth and fifteenth Amendments was to reconstruct the vision of slavery in the US territory
Refundation of political institutions
The Fifteenth Amendment granted black males the right to vote.
The Fourteenth Amendment secured citizenship and equal protection and due process of law.
The American Civil War (1861-1865) was a historical event with a lot of importance in US history, basically this war was to end the slavery and the differences between North and South once for all from United States territory. This event was one of the things that defined US future with the win of the North.
