Paper Elements
Title page
There are both professional and
student versions of the title page.
Title
The title should summarize the main idea of the paper simply
Author name
The preferred form of an author's name is first name, middle initial(s), and last name
Author affiliation
The affiliation identifies where the author(s) worked when the investigation was conducted
Author note
It includes ORCID ID, changes in affiliation, disclosures and acknowlogments and contact info
Running head
It is an abbreviated version of the paper title that appears at the
top of every page to identify it for readers
Abstract
It ist is a brief, comprehensive summary of the contents of the paper
Keywords
Keywords are words, phrases, or acronyms that describe the most important aspects of your paper.
Text
The text, or body of the paper, contains the authors' main contribution to the literature.
Reference list
It provides a reliable way for readers to locate the works authors
cite to acknowledge previous scholarship
Footnotes
It is a brief note that provides additional content or copyright attribution
Appendices
It is material that supplements the paper's content but that would be distracting or inappropriate in the text of the paper.
Format
Importance of format
The physical appearance of a paper can enhance or detract from it. A well-prepared paper encourages editors and reviewers to read the text

Page header
All papers should contain the page number, flush right, in the header of every page.
Font
a sans serif font such as 11-point Calibri, 11-point Arial, or 10-point Lucida Sans Unicode
Special characters
Type special characters using the special character functions ofyour word-processing program or a plug-ín such as MathType
Line spacing
Double-space the entire paper, including the title page, abstract, text, headings, block quotations, reference list, table and figure notes
Margins
Use I-in. (2.54-cm) margins on all sides (top, bottom, left, and right) ofthe page.
Paragraph aligment
Align the text to the left and leave the right margin uneven
Paragraph indentation
Indent the first line of every paragraph 0.5 in.
Paper Lenght
Journals differ in the average length of articles they publish; consult the journal's instructions for authors to determine the appropriate length for the type of article you are submitting.
