Distracting or loud environment
Temperature of the environment
Distractions such as noise and temperature can impact participants’ memory, recall and focus can be altered

Independent Variable
Type of audio (group 1: words, group 2: words and visual prompt, group 3: words, visual prompt and placing the word in a familiar environment)
Potential Issues
- Group 1 participants can use any method of remembering words which can interfere with set variables and add an additional variable
