Theory 2
BF Skinner
Behaviorists, such as Bandura, Skinner and Watson, believe that behavior will be repeated if it is rewarded. The opposite also applies: If behavior is ignored or the child is disciplined, the behavior will subside.
In language development, these theorists have centered their focus on the manner in which language in acquired and how environmental factors affect this development.
Bandura, Skinner and Watson, are known as 'Behaviorist Theorists' and have contributed a large deal to the knowledge and understanding of language development.
