Initial impression
In act 1 scene 5 she receives the letter and considers Macbeth's character and realises that although he's ambitious hes not ruthless enough to follow his intentions
She then calls on the spirits to curb any feminine nurturing instincts for pity and help and instead to force macbeth down a murderous path
