Introduction
The literature review of this self-study is imbued in international and local arguments on theme one: professional development of teachers, theme two: coaching, theme three: mentoring, lastly, theme four: impacts of coaching and mentoring on teacher professionalism. This segment of my self-study commences with an overview of the theoretical framework. The literature review is systematized according to themes to guide and support my self-study (Grant & Osanloo, 2014; Creswell & Creswell, 2018:62).
