Glaciated landscape: landscapes have been shaped by the action of glaciers. They include those places currently occupied by glaciers. They also include those places that were glaciated in the past (relict landscapes).
Valley glacier: Follow the course of existing river valleys. Confined by valley sides. May be outlet glaciers from ice sheets. Between 10-30 km long. May be fed by snow and ice from one or more corrie glaciers.
Ice sheet: Extend for more than 50,000km squared. Large accumulation of ice. Today there's only 2: Greenland, Antarctica. Antarctica is the world's largest ice sheet and at its thickest over 47000m deep.
