Marji grew up during the Islamic Revolution and has always believed in the king.
Environment
Marjanes family has been supportive throughout.
When she grew up, she spent a difficult and lonely life in Vienna and met her first boyfriends, Markus. Marjane did not smoke joint before dating Markus.
One day Marjane's parents came home tired after the march against the King Shan, she said "As for me, I love the King. He was chosen by God," (Satrapi, 19).
"I realized I didn't understand anything. I read all the books I could" (Satrapi, 22).
her parents' education made her change wrong minds.
She smoked with him, paid her tuition for Markus, and even sold hash in school after they broke up, “This is how, for love, I began my career as a drug dealer. Hadn’t I followed my mother’s advice? At this point, Marjane decided to ignore her mother’s advice and changed her personality for love.
Othello

Othello says to himself in a morbid tone in Desdemona's bedroom，“ I will kill you and then love you again! ” (Shakespeare, 67)
The complexity of human nature is reflected in the contradictions and duality contained in the characters, which contributes to Othello's tragedy, his destruction and self-destruction. Successful characters in Shakespeare's plays usually have a very complex personality system. Writing in Modern Language Review, Arthur Kosko asserts “ Othello's greatest failure was that he did not know himself well enough. Othello's jealousy is the result of suspicion: we think... He could not stand Desdemona's sensuality, which became a threat. Her warmth became the "proof" of her infidelity. And so on, all because of the "green-eyed demon" jealousy.” (Kosko,1）

Because of the change of environment, she also creates a rebellious character that thinks she wants to surpass others, Tuyen wants to break away from her former Vietnamese identity and keeps trying to join the Canadian environment.
Although Tuyen and Tuyen were born in the same family, their life experiences were completely different.
Emigrate to Canada, have fixed life and work
The difference in living environment and way of life causes estrangement between family members, which makes familiar relatives feel strange or even fearful.
