MAIN CHARACTERS

MACBETH: Is a fully tragic hero, his ambitionblinds him and his deliberate actions lead him to danmation, but his self-awareness-allows him to explore and to describe his moral decay with grat lucdidity
LADY MACBETH: Appears as a strong and rather masculine woman, she shows afirm character and is able to overcome Macbeth’s initial hesitation thanks to her seduction and her ability to use words

LEADER: ONE HAND: Shakespeare rapresents King Duncan only apparantly as the archetype of a good leader, father-like figure whom people respect, but who cannot foresee the dangers that may destroy his authority
ONE A SECOND LEVEL: Shakespeare rapresents macbeth as a man of action, a brave soldier who takes the initiative and changes the course of events but fails to understand that leadership without humanity and wisdom means tyranny
