Definition
Primary teeth or deciduous teeth comes from latin word 'decidere' meaning to 'all off'. Deciduous teeth fall off or are shed like leaves from a deciduous tree and are replaced by the adult teeth that succeed them. These teeth erupt at about 6 months of age.
