They are the rarest sea mammal in existence
Why vaquitas are endangered
Humans use gillnets to illegally fish for Totoaba, a rare fish. They open them up and take out their swim bladders to sell them to Chinese people for thousands of dollars. The Chinese people make a traditional medicine but the vaquitas sometimes get stuck in the gillnets and can't go up for air so they die.
